Saturday, Michala had the opportunity to do community service at the Humane Society in Wichita Falls for her Leadership class. She washed dog pens, walked dogs, and cleaned the cages where the animals are spayed, neutered, and microchipped. Michala won the lottery and cleaned the cage with the puke. That's my girl!! There were a lot of animals, which included cats, dogs, and a 14 yr old wolf. She had a great time and smelled extremely bad when I picked her up. Thank heavens for soap and water! I think it is fantastic that the students get to do community service as a project for school.
