The Vet

Tiger went to the Vet this morning to get his 'lump' checked. It turns out he has a fatty tumor on the right side of his body. It is 8 cm by 10 cm. It is pretty big. It is becoming a problem with some of his internal plumbing and so we have to operate. Yes, Tiger has to have a Lumpectomy! Don't even ask how many thousands of dollars this will cost. The emotional trauma to my kids will be enough. On the bright side, he was really good at the doctor. He even got a treat for being brave during the biopsy. We will schedule the surgery sometime during the early summer when we have a week to take care of a really sick dog. I keep reminding myself he is 'our best friend'.
